Angie Simms
Preschool Director
My name is Angie Simms and I’m the director for Growing Tree Inc. I begin working for Growing Tree as a lead teacher in 2010. In May of 2013 I took over the director’s role. It is a joy and blessing to be part of such a great organization. I have over 20 year’s experience in the child care field. I received my CDA in 2012 and certification in Early Childhood Education in the Spring of 2013. I am currently working on my Early Childhood Education degree.
There is nothing better than seeing a child learn and grow. I love coming in to work everyday and hearing the kids talk about something new that they retained from the day before. Knowing that the work I do makes a difference is both humbling and exciting! I also love getting to know the parents and strive to make this a family oriented atmosphere.
When I’m not at Growing Tree, I am spending time with my family. I have 2 children and 3 grandchildren that are my whole world!
